The Benefits of Geant 901D FTA TNT for Satellite TV Enthusiasts
the standard method of backscattering spectrometry and the geant 4.0.1 code were used to investigate the effects of time and depth on the average mass of the ions scattered by irradiated polyethylene and polyethylene-propylene copolymer materials. the results of the measurements are presented for both the average mass of the scattered ions and the surface depth of irradiation. the results of the measurements for the material samples are compared to predictions made using the geant 4.1 code. both the mass of the scattered ions and the depth of irradiation are predicted to depend upon time. a similar dependence upon time is observed in the experimental results. in contrast, the predictions made using the geant 4.1 code are much more dependent upon time.

the use of the monte carlo simulation code geant 4.0.1 for the simulation of the bombardment of polyethylene by protons is presented. the results are compared to the results obtained using the standard geant method of using geant 3.21. an energy loss analysis of the results obtained using the two codes is presented.
the geometry of the spire is complex, difficult to visualize and very hard to find. geant is used to work in the field, but also in the computer. he is an expert in the simulation of all kinds of processes and has developed the cern-geant4 toolkit. he is also a member of the european neutrino community, which is preparing a new neutrino detector. the task of this detector is to explore the unknown world of the neutrinos, a form of matter with no mass, and to test einsteins general theory of relativity, which predicts the existence of neutrinos. the neutrinos are elementary particles, similar to electrons, but are electrically neutral. the detector will use neutrinos from the cerns lhc accelerator to identify and measure the properties of these mysterious particles. the study of the neutrinos will provide a new way to test einsteins theory. the project is intended to be the largest experiment ever built for this purpose.
